Cheap and very cool things to do.?

My girlfriend is coming to town for a couple of weeks and I haven't seen her in a months or so, so I am really excited to see her. We are both really tight on money and I wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations for places to go to and things to do. We are not into the whole bar thing every night, just one night which we might go Downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Does anyone have any ideas? Oh btw, I live in Weston, FL.
