The current worldwide green movement insists on changing from incandescent to compact fluorescent bulbs to cut greenhouse ges; Australia as a country is switching over by law in 2010. Will North America and more importantly the poorer nations of the world be able to make the switch to the more expensive lighting systems? The other question to be asked is what about the mercury in each of the CFLs? Is this really the solution for the next 125 years?
