Since the Supreme Court already has a radical right wing, should Obama appoint a few leftist radicals?

All of the current names Obama is rumored to be considering, most are left-center candidates. With the right wing coalition of Scalia, Thomas, Alito, and Roberts already in place, should Obama consider getting some serious left wing radical in there? Just for balance?
