I am female, 41y/o, my mother has type 2 diabetes, what is the risk that I might it too? ?

My mother has type 2 diabetes, what is the risk that I can have it too? Also, I do bring my lunch box in the office and the rice is usually cold when I eat it during lunchtime, can it caused diabetes. I am now 41, years old. Hope to get your reply soon and many thanks.
