Ideas needed for a nice affordable wedding?

i started to plan a wedding and found out that it cost more than i had planned on. So i decided to get married at the beach and bring the people that were the closest to me. i am still getting a wedding dress and everything. Then when we get back home we are having a reception for everyone we would have invited to the wedding and also asking everyone to bring a covered dish. You would be surprised at how much i am saving!
