Does he like me or not?

So in the beginning of this school year, I really like this guy named Mitch. My friend gave him my cell # and he txted me. We txted every single day all night. He would hug me in the halls, and met me at my locker. One night I saw him at our school football game and he had his arms around another girl's waist. He said she was crying so he made her feel better. Next time he said he liked another girl and he was going to ask her out. I was fine with that since we weren't dating so I couldn't get mad. Now he pokes me in the hall ways, holds my hand, and hugs me. He comes to my lunch table to talk to me, and walks me to my cles and locker. He doesnt sit with his girlfriend at lunch, and doesnt poke her. He makes kissy faces at me in math cl. My friend asked him if he likes me and he said yes, but when i asked him he said no because he doesn't want to be a player. I think he likes me but he doesnt want to admit it. I really need your help. I'm so confused and I need your help.
