Why do our liberals love corporate welfare?

Both the democratic and republican parties have supported corporate welfare of a variety of shades throughout the years. However, whether "liberals" support this depends on which definition of the word liberal you use. If by liberal you mean democrats, then absolutely (which is what you probably meant). If you meant clical liberals, absolutely not.
