Is it cool to live in Greenwich Village?

Or does it just seem like your trying to be cool and all bohemian? Personally, I think that people who live there now, that haven't been born their or anything just seem like their trying to hard to be cool? Their like 'Oh yeah, I live in Greenwich Village' AM I CRAZY?
